Caleb Batts - Content Manager
Meet Caleb: A Thornton High School and CU Boulder alum with a dual major in Sustainability and in Marketing. In his last semester at university, he co-founded the non-profit Climatique in Boulder (which is still holding weekly free food and education programmes that you should go to), and has been organizing on the front lines for over 3 years. He up grew in Commerce City with the Suncor refinery in his backyard, and demands and fights for justice for the communities that the state legislature has chosen to sell out to corporate donors.
Caleb's “why”: I know that Gabriel is the kind of leader that I want to see representing a community I grew up in. He will be a legit progressive legislator that fights for workers and for families against the corporations and their greed. I shadowed, met, and talked with legislators who happily turned a blind eye in order to make a few lobbying dollars. No more. I plan to acquire my permanent home in Colorado, but I took a detour to Minneapolis in December of 2025. Within 2 weeks of moving, Renee Good (Colorado raised) was shot in the face. Alex Pretti a week later 2 blocks from me. Me and my cat both choked on the tear gas as federal and local agents alike terrorized us. Gabriel's promise to hold ICE accountable is deeply personal for me, and is what specifically empowers me to fight for this campaign.
