Meet Noelia: Noelia is an educator, advocate, and Thornton High School and CU Boulder alum. She has always been incredibly passionate about politics and human rights. She has a dual degree in international affairs and communications, and is currently getting her Master’s in Public Policy from CU Denver. After graduating college, Noelia became an educator focused on designing youth-led ethnic studies curriculum, worked to ensure student’s had their nasic needs met, and returned to her alma mater to teach social studies. There, she became passionate about tackling the disparities that she witnessed her community faced on a daily basis. Having grown up in Thornton, she has always felt it critical to mobilize for her community.

Noelia’s “why”: I believe in Thornton and my community, and I know Gabriel is the kind of leader who can create change and fight for our best interest. I also believe that change is rooted in all of us, and I aim to show up in every way I can.
