Veronica Rodriguez Pena - Graphics

Meet Veronica: Veronica is a graphic designer, painter, and longtime member of her local community. She has called the same neighborhood home for more than seven years, giving her a personal connection to the people and places that make it what it is. She has been practicing graphic design professionally for more than four years and first became involved in activism causes since her senior year of high school. Whether through art, design, or community involvement, Vero enjoys using her creativity as a way to connect with people and contribute to causes that matter to her.

Veronica’s “why”: Vero wants to volunteer because she believes meaningful change takes more than simply caring about an issue, it takes showing up and putting in the work. She wants to contribute to a campaign that listens to the people who live and work in the community and works toward progress that includes everyone. By volunteering her graphic design skills, Vero hopes to help communicate the campaign's message in a way that feels representative of the community of Thornton.
